Please consider joining many of your classmates in supporting Cornell by making a gift to our 30th Reunion Campaign.
Every five years, each Cornell alumni class returns to campus in June to renew friendships and reconnect to Cornell. Despite not being able to return to campus in 2021, many alumni still make special Cornell Annual Fund Gifts to celebrate what their Cornell education has done for them, and help their class try to set a new reunion campaign record.
Reunion Campaign - Giving to your Alma Mater
You're all probably aware that we have an AMAZING class, but did you know that the Class of '91 consistently breaks records for annual dues, participation, reunion attendance and reunion giving? This is possible because we have so many engaged classmates who loyally make an annual gift that is both relevant and meaningful.
In celebration of our 30th Reunion, many classmates have continued their generous giving and have stepped up to make a special gift. Your Reunion campaign committee is now working to reach the following goals between now and June 30, 2021. As of June 11, our Reunion Campaign stands at:
- Dollars Raised (Goal of $22 million): $24,251,780 (New 30th Reunion Campaign Record!)
- Tower Club Members ($10,000+) (Goal of 90): 75
- Cornell Giving Partner Members ($1000+) (Goal of 175): 158
- Donors (Goal of 750): 754
All gifts by class members during the fiscal year from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, count toward the Reunion campaign totals. Two-year commitments of $10,000 or more, or three-year commitments of $15,000 or more, also count if the donor signs a statement of intent.
All gifts made to the University (whether it be for a specific college, scholarship, fraternity, sorority, or sports team) count towards the campaign goal. We encourage you to consider designating at least a portion of your gift to the Cornell Annual Fund (or one of its school or program specific funds) - as these unrestricted dollars provide Cornell with the greatest degree of flexibility to direct the funds where they are needed most. There are many ways that you can give - by mail, by phone, or even online at the following site: https://www.giving.cornell.edu/give.
The Class of '91 will continue to sponsor a Cornell Tradition Fellowship. Click on the preceding link to learn more about how the class has been able to help several undergraduates with financial aid and read the letters of thanks from two of our recipients.
